We are always accepting applications for part-time positions to give love to all of our furry friends. This is NOT an independent contractor position.
PART-TIME POSITIONS:

COMPENSATION:

Paid training

Competitive starting pay (depends on experience) paid weekly

We pay you by the service

Base + mileage reimbursement + cell phone stipend + 100% tips. (pet care team members~$18-$20+/hr; Dog trainers ~varies based on service; Full Time Coordinators or Managers ~$20-$26/hr)

Depending on your availability, our part time dog walkers/pet sitters make between $50-$500+/week

You can make extra money if you are also willing to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays

This is a part-time job to start

Your schedule is based on client need and we do not guarantee any amount of hours, income or number of visits.
REQUIREMENTS:
-
Must love dogs and cats and their owners
-
Must have your own reliable car with valid driver's license and automobile insurance
-
Must live in a city within a 15 minute drive to Waltham, Belmont, or Watertown
-
Must be flexible with schedule and willing to add visits with short notice
-
Occasional evening or weekend hours for client Meet and Greets may be necessary
-
Must have a clean criminal background (criminal/background check required)
-
Must be detail orientated
-
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
-
Must be able to follow pet care instructions exactly as written
-
Must have a smart phone with email and ability to use our scheduling app

Applicants who answer all application questions, meet our current availability needs, and live within our service area will be contacted to complete a one way video interview as the first step in our interview process.
​
From there, applicants who may be a good fit will move through the following steps:

A quick phone interview to review the positions currently available

A Zoom interview with one of our managers

A possible second interview with another manager
-
Reference checks with 3 to 4 professional references and 1 personal reference

A thorough background check
Applicants must agree to and successfully pass both reference checks and a background check before employment can begin.

Once hired, we want every team member to feel prepared, confident, and supported. New hires are required to complete 10 or more hours of online training and 20 or more hours of hands-on training and shadowing with experienced dog walkers and pet sitters before working independently. We then pair you with a mentor for an entire year.
